Reworking the Script: Rejection Sensitivity and Negativity

$100

90-minute Workshop

Behind the scenes, we call this "Reworking the Script" because we'll learn how to look at situations and feelings from other angles to work to have better outcomes as we re-write the script of our own lives.

In this 90-minute workshop, teens will:

  • Learn about core beliefs
  • Examine the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and actions
  • Learn to flip negative thoughts to positive thoughts
  • Discuss healthy vs unhealthy coping skills and how to use healthy skills
  • Gain access to workshop downloadable printables

In addition:

  • Parents will be emailed information for each workshop so that as their teen's "stage manager" they can ensure ongoing performances as teens implement strategies learned
  • **BETA testing** teens will be invited to download and use our FREE and safe Kajabi communities app to interact with and ask questions of Dr Stuppy and others enrolled in the workshop for troubleshooting
  • Families have the option of paying an additional fee to have the entire TEACH Me ADHD Directors Cut series workbook for all 10 TEACH Me ADHD Directors Cut workshops mailed to their home

Learn from Anywhere

We know teens have busy lives so we offer a rotating schedule of this and each of the TEACH Me ADHD: Director's Cut Teen Workshop Series throughout the year.

Each of the 10 workshops are 90-minutes and offered on zoom. Your teen can log on using their phone, tablet, or computer and use headphones for privacy. We will be offering each of 10 workshops multiple times a year so your teen can always sign up based on their schedule and time of year.

Teens can sign up for one, a few, or all the workshops!

Teen-Focused

This workshop is only for teens, between 13 to 18 years of age, so they can "see" and learn alongside their peers. We've designed the overall series with a "director," "actor" and theater theme to empower teens to "re-write their script" so to realize their true potential.

Moreover, teens need ongoing support or maybe they have additional questions. Teens will gain access to our free, secure Kajabi Communities app for anytime access to our instructor. The forum is monitored at all times and only teens registered will have access.

Parent Support Included

Teens can invite parents to join them during the live workshop, either on or off camera.

However, we get that teens may have mixed feelings about their parent sitting in with them.

Parent attendance is optional as parents will receive an email with access to resources and a video summarizing content at the conclusion of the workshop. These tools are intended to help you talk confidently with your teen and reinforce ongoing practice!

Teen Workshop:

Rejection Sensitivity & Negative Thinking

Workshop Description: Rejection sensitivity and negativity can be challenged for a better outlook. We call this session "Reworking the Script" because teens will learn to change their script to be more positive.

After You Sign Up: As soon as you register you will get confirmation of enrollment sent to both yours and your teen's email along with instructions your teen can use to download the FREE Kajabi Communities app.

SPECIAL NOTE: **Since this is a new offering, if there not enough registrations for any particular class, the instructor may choose to reschedule for another time so to ensure a suitable number of participants. If this should happen you will be notified 48 hours in advance.**

If you have any questions once registered, please send us an email at [email protected]

Meet Your "Assistant Director"

This 90 minute workshop is led by Dr Kristen Stuppy, general pediatrician based in Kansas who brings over 25 years of cumulative experience working with families in the clinic and online. She is passionate about this work and will be your trusted "assistant director" so that teens can take on both director and actor roles throughout the run of THEIR show.
